Shawn Welchman
Youth Pastor
Shawn Welchman was born and raised in Magnet Cove Ar. He graduated from Magnet Cove in 2006 where soon after he followed his dream of becoming a firefighter. He attended the Arkansas Fire academy then went on to school at OTC. 2nd year in to college he finally gave in to his call to the ministry which he had ran from for 2 years. He finished his 3rd semester at OTC then began seminary at CABBI (Central Arkansas Baptist Bible Institute) in Benton where he is currently beginning his 7th semester. Shawn has recently followed the Lord here to serve as our Youth/Associate Pastor. Shawn is also a Lt. Firefighter for Magnet Cove FD and a part time paid Firefighter for Malvern FD. Shawn loves to help people any way possible; but most of all he serves our Lord God to his fullest ability. Shawn is engaged to be married on May 26, 2012 to a beautiful young woman Taylor Reese whose father is also a Missionary Baptist Preacher.
